This measuring device, a highly recommended instrument for service staff of electrical utilities, is used for fast and precise measurement of audio frequency voltages at the mains voltage level.
With the SPM3, ripple control signal voltages in the range of 0 … 20 V can be measured frequency-selectively. Using the keypad, the desired center frequency from 50 Hz up to 2 kHz at steps of 1/10 Hz is easily set. The three possible filter bandwidths of 1.7 %, 3.7 % and 6.0 % can also be selected by a single keystroke.
